How to Determine the Right Preventive Maintenance Program
- Manufacturer Requirements
- Age of Cardio Equipment
- Number of Hours Used Monthly
- Does Equipment Have Entertainment Features
Manufacturer requirements are always found in the owner’s manual.
The manufacturer calls out certain “common” procedures designed to limit the manufacturer’s warranty expense and mitigate any liability risks.
Preventive maintenance procedures are not consistent between manufacturers. Understanding the difference is critical to comply with the Manufacturer’s specifications.
Understand that a manufacturer’s recommended preventive maintenance procedure is not designed to “find” issues.
